How was it a pathetic role or a performance? Yeah, it was a glamour oriented role and no major intense acting piece but it sure was a much better substantial role when compared to any of the other Dhoom girls.. Esha, Rimi in Dhoom or Bipasha in Dhoom 2, who had pretty much nothing to do. Regarding the performance, in the movie, Sunehri is a wannabe yet street smart girl who tries really hard to seduce/impress Mr.A. And Ash did exactly that! The way she spoke, the way she walked, she was totally in-character and sounded nothing like the Aishwarya Rai that she is off-screen. She actually acted unlike most of the Bollywood actresses in such glamour roles who just sleep-walk through the movie!

Before Dhoom 2, people used to say "Ash is beautiful but isn't hot or sexy, she's the sweet Indian beauty you want to take home to your mother", but this performance, she totally changed that perception. And oh, her chemistry with Hrithik in this film was definitely sizzling!

Rani should work out like hell if she wants to be a Dhoom girl now. Now is the time that her career can be revived.

^^^Yep...Ash set such high standards in D2 that no one before her thought of and no one after her will dare to emulate.

Her 'are you like checking me out?' is one of the worst dialogues ever to be delivered by a main-stream actress along with Kat's 'Hard core anti-family man'.

No, I'm nowhere saying it is the greatest performance. Not at all. But it wasn't as bad as people here are making it out to be. (Yeah, I know how anti-Ash it is here, but still if they are allowed to criticize and be cynical about her, I'm allowed to justify I guess).

Regarding the "Are you like checkin' me out" line. She did not write the dialogue! 😛 She was asked to mouth it, which she did. You are justified to think it was the worst dialogue ever, because honestly, she wasn't supposed to act cool while mouthing that line. She was double acting in the film. Fine, don't like her performance. But don't say that just because she came across as wannabe.She was supposed to be wannabe and try hard to impress and that is precisely what she did.

I AM SO EXCITED! OMG this better be true. She would rock in a negative role, I really want her to do an action film with a negative role. And seeing her with Kat will be nice, since they never had a film together!

Lets not talk about Ash's role in D2, it was disaster and her acting was pathetic ...it was more of plastic doll rather than a human ...
