how do u mean he's nt been successful with Don 1 and 2?😕 Don 1 was a big hit and his acting was appreciated... and Don 2 has apparently done evn mre well and broken records... the music has been criticised bt srk's acting has been appreciated by critics...so hw do u mean he's nt been successful?

No 1 is denying that Big B is the original don and no1 can evn match up 2 him bt tht doesnt mean u can say SRK;s attempts with his Don movies hav been unsuccessful becos they haven't... they hav worked and he has received positive reviews for his acting in both movies. just becos a movie doesnt completely match up 2 the original doesnt mean that its unsuccessful...

Am I the only one who thinks that Abhi is right because the original DON will remain Amit ji no matter what. SRK will always be Baadshah though hehe ;D

Don had a great opening but after that it fell flat. Don 2 as well is getting mixed reviews. So I can say he hasn't been very successful. But you might like him and you can say he's very successful. It's your choice. 😊

no1 here said abhi was wrong in wt he said..personally i jus think it wasnt needed becos he wasnt asked who he thrt was the better don he was asked abt his thrts on da movie... wteva da case no1 can eva deny tht Big B is the original Don... he was n always wil b...

its as maddy sed "evry1s individual personal preference"... those tht saw DON with Big B back in the days prefer him while those tht saw SRK as Don prefer him...nevertheless i dnt think any comparison shud b made with Big B esp nt of SRK becos Big B is much mre senior than SRK...actors like Rajesh Khanna etc fair enuf u can compare thm with Big B if u wnt bt nt SRK...srk shud b compared 2 actors of his generation...sunny deol/salman/anil kapoor/amir etc...

I agree too... Though i did not grow up watching ABSr as Don I still think he was the best... The baritone, the swag, the demeanor... 👍🏼

I don't agree. I watched SRK's Don first and wasn't impressed. Only the next year I saw the original Don.. and man.. he was just so awesome! SRK is too tiny and comical to look convincing as Don.
But yes, its personal preference at the end of the day.

Don 1 was the 5th highest grossing film in 2006...some BO reports say it was a hit while sum say blockbuster

Don 2 has mainly received positive reviews...the negative reviews hav been on the music n pace of the movie not on SRKs acting...in fact SRKs acting has been appreciated mre in Don 2 than Don 1 and so far its made ova 63 crore n broke many records...

so he has been successful but its ur choice whether 2 believe it or not.

Don was average as opposed to the original Don which was a blockbuster and Don 2's getting negative/mixed reviews.. A film has to work as a film, not just one performance.

People still remember Amitabh Bachchan as Don though its been 35 years since that film.. explains what an impact it has had. So yes, unsuccessful.

No one can beat Amitji as Don, not even SRK.
