There's this actress in her late-thirties who's been trying to make a comeback in B-Town for quite a while now. Of course, the old excuse of waiting for the right script worked for her too for some time, as it does with several out-of-work actresses and actors. But soon she even ran out of that reason as months turned to years and her right script was yet to come by. TV stint couldn't sustain her interest, and the actor's not looking forward to opening her own restaurant or turn producer anytime soon as the other do. Of course, there's no doubt that the actor's a talented performer, but like a filmmaker points out, how many roles out here actually need talented performers. "Here going de-glam automatically makes actors out of heroines, but to face the fact, age matters and she is already past her prime," says the producer. The actress, meanwhile, spends her time reading books and discussing the potential of a particular book being made into a movie. She still prefers to stick to her coterie of friends, but of late, she has even stopped making appearances for them at their most private bashes. But then surprises everyone by turning up at a bash completely out of the blue. She even puts on a brave front, and flashes that perfect pout as she always had. Those looking at her would agree that she still looks just as gorgeous too and compliments continue to come her way, but when it comes to work, well she is still waiting for the right script!
