We all do it. So and so is better than so and so. So and so is worse than so and so. So in so is more beautiful than so and so etc etc etc.

Comparisons are always made in Bollywood, some intentionally others unintentionally. We all tend to compare actors/actresses to their generation.

But is it really fair to do that in all honesty?

Is it fair to say that Amitabh ji is better than Shahrukh or Shahrukh is better than Aamir or Aamir is better than Salman? Is it fair to say Madhuri is better than Juhi or Juhi is better than Karisma? Or Rani is better than Kajol?

Each individual has worked so hard to be where they are now! If Shahrukh excels in negative roles, Aamir excels in serious roles while Salman excels in comedy roles. Each star has their strong forte. So doesn't that make them unique in their own way? Each actor/actress has had their share of success. They can't always be successful.

We all have our favorites. Sometimes I fail to understand how some actors/actresses can even have fans. But there must be a reason for someone to like an actor/actress. Their work speaks for itself.

I know Bollywood needs to set a standard and hence comparisons occur. Its just how it works in the industry. I mean if you don't compare then the whole purpose of "who's the best" is defeated. But my question goes back to is it really truly fair to compare one actor/actress to other of their generation?

Each individual is in the film industry for their work, talent, passion, commitment and dedication to acting. So now matter how much they suck or how much we dislike them shouldn't we all given them ever 1% of credit? There are so many stars that I absolutely can't stand in terms of acting. But aren't they there for a reason? If no audience liked or appreciated their work they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have (some of you may get the person I may be having in mind aka referencing). But point being they are successful and going forward for a reason - because fans like the work that they are doing.

In order to set some standards we compare. But how much fair are we being to these stars in comparing them? Just something I was wondering and thought of asking!

I'm lost who are we talking about...lol
but I do see comparisons a lot. I mean I do it, we all do it. It's natural. But it's so true that everyone has a thing they are good at like SRK being romantic, Aamir being serious and Salman being dabangg

All the bosses we work for are monsters..all the biggest stars are selfish and insecure..

The top fashion designers are all biatches..the kids of the wealthy spoilt rotten..its true 90% of the time😆

Sigh..world is like that..the deserving who get their due are few and they go on to make history..and we all rejoice, momentarily and then go back to our lives..dealing with untalented, undeserving people who control us🤡

Thats life..
