The man who is making Mallika dance these days is new choreographer, Hormuzd Khambata, from Shaadi Se Pehle.

Says Khambata, "My friend Rajiv Puri introduced me to Satish Kaushik. I invited Satishji four years back to a show of mine and since then he has been encouraging me to do movies.

But for some reason it never clicked. I was given his earlier movies but some producers didn't want a newcomer.

I did a portion for Milenge Milenge for Kareena Kapoor, it was a small setup, and Satishji promised me to give something that will present me as a regular choreographer with a unique style. I, then, choreographed a song and showed it to Mr. Subhash Ghai and Satishji.

They loved it and we shot the song in two days with Mallika. Sone pe suhaga? "Mallika liked the way I presented her."

Everyone knows how picky Aamir is about his films. He turns down more films that he signs every year. But we didn't expect him to turn down wife Kiran.

The new Mrs Khan after having assisted Ashutosh Gowariker in Lagaan and Swades, was ready with a script for her own directorial debut.

Needless to say her first choice was pati parmeshwar but Aamir wasn't too excited about it and turned it down.

So, what now Kiran? Back to the writing desk for another script? Or a hunt for another hero? We want to see female director on the block soon, so don't keep us waiting.

Aditi Shirwaikar — Sonu of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii — who has disappeared to America is now back in the Balaji daily on Star Plus.

The track has her visit the Aggarwal family in their grief of Parvati, the lead protagonist's daughter Shruti being kidnapped.

"I am glad to be back in the show. My character has shaped up since the time she has been gone to the US. I was initially a very innocent and bubbly character but now I am a totally different person when I come back.

I am shown to be more mature and poised as a person," says Aditi who is currently doing Shararat on Star Plus, Hare Kkanch Ki Choodiyan on SaharaOne and Millie on Star Plus.

It is a platinum band. It looks like a plain band but is was specially designed. It opens up and insider there are 20 diamonds (to signify the number of years they've known each other. And there is an insciprtion that reads, "our love, our secret". Sigh, how romantic!

The Rakshanda Khan hosted Indian Idol Taka Tak on Sab lives up to its name with the two female contestants — Antara Mitra and Meenal Jain hobnobbing with Jassi (Mona Singh) tonight amidst much drama and emotions. The trio recounts their metamorphosis on the small screen — from Plain Janes to svelte gals.

"I was shocked looking at all the girls being voted out of the show. I personally wanted a female Idol this year! But looking at the voting pattern... I wonder what the viewers are voting for... and hence I had this strong urge to meet with the two girls," says Mona when asked about her visit to these contestants.

One doesn't usually see Shrishti Arya Behl at parties or on the social circuit.

Ask her to pose for pictures and she makes excuses to get away from a chance at being photographed.

But she pleasantly surprised us at a recently held award function where she made an appearance on stage in a ravishing outfit with her leading ladies from Remix and India Calling.

Not only did she look radically different from her usual look, but also seemed to be glowing in the success of India Calling, with Kirti Kelkar being the new entrant in the Rose Audio Visual parivar.
