Vijayta sings Alka Yagnik's song

Many are not aware that Vijayta Pandit has actually music running through her genes. Her family is a mix of musicians and singers. Composers duo Jatin and Lalit are her brother. Singer-actress Sulakshana Pundit is actually her sister. And she is married to one of the popular composers Aadesh Srivastava. 'Dulhan dulhan' the song from Chingari is not the first song that she has rendered. Formerly she has already given her vocals for the popular song 'Pehla nasha' with Udit Narayan in 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'. She has also sung many songs that were later dubbed by Alka Yagnik and Sadhana Sargam. But today she has dubbed a song that has actually sung by Alkaji and it is no less than an achievement of sorts for her.

On her new stance Vijayta Pandit speaks that she has discovered a new identity after doing the song. Though she has massive films like 'Love Story' and 'Mohabbat' to her credit, she doesn't reckon herself much of an actress today. She has always been passionate towards singing.
