Amisha in Honeymoon Travel

Amisha Patel has been signed for producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritiesh Sidwani's forthcoming venture Honeymoon Travel's Pvt. Ltd.

The film will be directed by Reema Kagdi. Shooting for the film will commence in March. Director Kagdi has assisted Mira Nair in Vanity Fair and Ashutosh Gowarikar in Lagaan in the past.

"I have worked with Farhan in two of his films and we share a very good rapport. I am glad he trusted me with the story which I have written. On my part, I will try to make an entertaining film," says Kagdi.

Says Amisha, "I am glad to be a part of the ensemble cast in Farhan's film. I think highly of him as a director and am sure that it will be a pleasure to work with him as producer too," says Amisha. The film also stars Shabana Azmi, Abhay Deol and Kay Kay.

Although the film boasts of an impressive star cast, Amisha remains unperturbed. "I have never craved for publicity. As an actress I concentrate on quality driven roles. If I was so hungry for publicity, I wouldn't have agreed to do a small role in The Rising. It is always the script that makes a film," she asserts.
