Sonam can be Kareena's twin in every aspect, but she totally lacks the screen presence and charisma that Kareena had and has in all her movies, even the ones that flopped.

naah,...despite all the similarities, i disagree..

..kareena always had the spark in her...even when she debuted. Think refugee, asoka, LOC kargil and Dev. Her and amisha debuted at the same time, and amisha had the bigger hit and a more successful debut. However, it was kareena who bagged all the awards and the offers. Sure she hammed in a few horribly made films...but tht was all part of her learning process...The best of actors have had their share of bad performances...thts excusable to me as long as they have enough credible performances to negate those...

to me sonam showed no such spark in any of her movies so far...maybe delhi 6...but most of the times, Shes like the female version of abhishek...utterly passionless onscreen..for me atleast...

...but lets see, she might improve...

Totally agree with Smartie here, Kareena always had a spark, she has terrific screen presence although she was terrible in the beginning.

However Sonam's screen presence is repulsive.

maybe..i see where your going, and i thought she did a great job in aisha, she certinly has potential

but i think anushka has a more of chance of being where kareena is now, i even think she will go further...she can act, has good personality, can dance and has the the glamour factor...

This is not like a Kindergarten class-monitor roster system where every child gets to be the Monitor for at least a week.. every actor do not get to rise to the top eventually. For every Kareena or Katrina, there are a thousand Amisha, Dia and Lara. And the chances that Sonam would end up in the second bunch are much stronger - she neither has the acting chops nor connection with the public.

i agree...anushka has a LOT of potential...shes the only one who is a decent actress and also heroine material amongst the current crop of actresss (as in the ones who debuted in the last 5-6 years)
