After teaming up with Sohail Khan Productions for FIGHT CLUB, producer Ravi Walia of Rising Star Entertainments, (who had last released I - PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN), is all set to team up with Sohail Khan once again for another production. The film is a hilarious comedy called IDHAR UDHAR, which will be directed by a debut-making director. Walia and Khan have already confirmed Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan to play the two lead roles in the film, while the rest of the cast is still being worked out. The film is expected to commence shooting in April.
"We are considering teaming up for more projects in the future," Walia reveals. Meanwhile, FIGHT CLUB, has now been rescheduled for a February 17 release, to avert the clash with the one-day matches between India and Pakistan that will be held in early February. "We wanted to release the film on a day when there was no major opposition, be it the one-day matches or another big film and February 17 seems to be ideal," says Walia, who describes the film as an entertaining action-comedy. "It has been a long time since there has been a really good action comedy. The last one that made a big impact at the box-office was MAIN KHILADI TU ANARI. Hopefully, FIGHT CLUB will revive a new interest in action comedies," he says.
