John: Hibernation time

Aditya Chopra's Kabul Express directed by Kabir Khan has John Abraham, can the inseparable buddy Karan Johar be far behind?

The latest is that John has been pencilled in for Karan's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. Don't ask us what the role is.

Ask John, that is, if you can reach him. Ever since his return from Kabul, he has gone in a state of hibernation, except for a few publicity appearances for Zinda, which we understand he couldn't refuse big shots like Sanjay Gupta and Sanjay Dutt.

Sharmila: Acting with kids

Soha Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore
Amidst the galaxy of young models and actresses at the recent Marriott beds and calendar launch event was the dignified Sharmila Tagore Khan.

Refusing any kind of protocol security, the Censor Board chief modestly mingled with the swarm of invitees as Begum Pataudi checked out the displayed picture of her posing with beti Soha Ali Khan.

So what about films with her children? She flashed her famous dimpled smile. "It would be exciting. But it should not be something gimmicky for the sake of media hype. We are not at all contriving to be cast together, because it should all happen effortlessly," shrugged Sharmila. We are sure the Bachchans agree.
