Idk how i exactly feel about this.
Twitter can be an advantage and a disadvantage...we all know that.

When it comes to celebrities...
I believe that most celebs are on twitter have looked past (or at least tried to look past) the "hate tweets" and they are simply on twitter to connect with fans or "advertise" themselves.

Therefore, for me, I can look at this in 2 ways:

1. Stop being a cry baby. You are where you are today because of your "fans". Once you have made a twitter, at least stay in for them. You know already that not everyone likes you. And plus, the career that they have chosen comes with non stop criticism. Look past it and take it with a pinch of salt. You can't afford to not have a thick skin here.

2. Its their decision. No one likes criticism. Its better to surround yourself with positive energy than negative. People being rude gets you no where. Why put yourself in that situation knowing what going to come...Imran doesn't owe anyone anything.

Both of these aren't wrong but its still a effy subject.
Im on the fence about it.

There's another non-Bollywood actor who has his own protection squad and look at him...kya zindagi jee raha hai. You say one word against him and the entire protection squad comes running after you within 2 minutes with their e-swords and e-grenades. Now that I think about it...a non-Bollywood couple has their own protection squad too.

Yep the show has ended and STILL they droool😍😍😍😍 "he's so effing hot" but please God I hope his film gets trashed😭 before his beloved fans take over!!!🥱

I get so confused about the actors of this show and their various fan groups. Unfortunately there are two actors that share the same first name so when they say Kajen, Jeran I keep wondering which Karan it is.

Btw what if this dil ka doctor has a release which remains in the theatres for the whole weekend?

Oh please! Screw "Twitter"! That mess just started last week and no it's NOT necessary to the continuance of life on earth.

If someone wants to be on that thing be on it. If you don't get off. No one owes "tweeting" to any-damned-body...seriously now!

And if people want to get out their aggression and jealous resentment of an actor's perks then that's something to examine within yourself. The performer isn't your whipping boy and doesn't have to sit there and let somebody take out their frustrated bitterness unless the abuser wants to pay them for it. It really isn't in the job description of actor.

Feel free to hate and abuse all you like but no one "owes" it to anyone else to sit and absorb verbal abuse if they don't choose to.

Imran chooses not. That's his call.

He used the word "loser", should he have repeated other more colorful language?! I don't know. Each to their own. If he can't take the abuse, he left. I'm not a fan of his that's probably why I didn't even know he was on twitter, but it is his choice and if haters are cursing his family and personal relationships then I see nothing wrong in him leaving.

Yeah, I know he doesn't have the MOST, but we as the audience are the reason these celebs get to where they are...I guess in an ideal world, haters would just ignore ppl they hate and not stoop to such low measures...but the world is full of baboons who don't know how to respectful communicate ppl they dislike.

it's also his individual choice to BE in a profession which exposes you to the entire world.

and he should very well know that this is one of the biggest opportunity costs of being in such a glamorous profession.

When you get to look like a billion dollars on screen, and you look like the epitome of a cute boy, and when you have millions of girls hating on your wife because you're married and committed to her...

you've also got to settle for the grimy crap.

Areh, he should be flattered that people waste so much time to just abuse him. That's how BIG he is! He is damn hot property...

but instead, he chooses to be all 'Twitters icky', and in the process, fans of his (myself somewhat included), don't get to interact with him on Twitter, or read some of his tweets about his day.

I guess it's a lose-lose situation for him...either interact with some fans and bear the crap from haters or not interact at all and still get crap...sucks to be in is shoes right now.

All I'm trying to guess is that yes, this profession calls for facing criticism--but they're humans too and I would assume any human being would want to leave if ppl are THAT mean/abusive.

I guess he could do many things if he wanted to still be on twitter...like ignore, reply back, made a general blanket statement like Uday keeps doing here ad there, etc. He left--maybe he's not used to such hate messages; whatever his reason/reasons...good luck to him.

Let's just agree to disagree on the subject then.
