see she can make blunt statements...thts all fine..not everyone has to be intelligent...

my problem is the fact that she projects herself to be the only well bought up intellectual types (gasp!! she reads BOOKS) in the industry,whereas the statements she makes paint a completely different picture of her..

tht attitude grates on my nerves...

This is what Sonam is known for today: being Anil Kapoor's daughter and a fashionista with GREAT photoshoots/covers.

Acting wise, she needs a LOT of improvement. Didn't think much of her in Saawariya, she was horrendous in IHLS, TY and Aisha. Her best performance is Delhi 6 so far. Maybe Mausam will change things for her and get people to take her more seriously as an actress.

Personally I think she's in the wrong profession. She should have been a model. She's gorgeous and can light up any cover just by being in it.

Sonam's avowal of love in the last scene of IHLS was so unintentionally hilarious. The way she said "I love you too" sounded just like someone saying "I will have a double latte" at Starbucks, with the same amount of passion and excitement in her voice.

I think she will have a pretty long career however it will be on her own terms...in her own way...I see her being content & happy with whatever she decides to do. Let's see...too early to say anything.

Like someone mentioned on this topic, sonam is popular in the internet. Because in real life, people don't know or either don't like her.

I think she'll do well in romantic roles where she she has a small role and not a lot to say. She'll do perfect on those roles, she can just look the part.

I personally don't like her childish voice and her acting is annoying because whenever she's crying, it looks like she's laughing. I think crying is the most important of acting. it's just my opinion...you don't have jump on me

I gave this girl too much credit then she deserved. After watching KBC i have changed my views about her. She's another bimbo in bolly whos world revolves around fashion, designer wear and makeup.

Obviously the reason she got into bollywood is because of her dad. But her dad doesn't make her popular. Look at Esha Deol...where is she today. Sonam is popular among young girls is because she is hatke. Her interviews are entertaining. She is pretty and she lost all that weight. Her magazine covers are amazing and she is THE BEST dressed actress in bollywood. You know I was pretty harsh on her about her performance in IHLS...but she actually fitted the role quite well. She was good in Saawariya also...there was this mystery about her character..and she played it well for a new comer. She was def bad in that akki movie...but every top actress today including vidya have bad performance so let's give sonam some time.
