Hrithik is just being human

On Monday, hours before he was scheduled to fly off to USA to undergo further treatment for his nerve disorder, Salman Khan had a surprise visitor at his Bandra residence. Hrithik Roshan, who had never been too close to Khan dropped by to wish the ailing actor good health. This came as a surprise, considering the verbal battle between the actors in the past. The incident also proved, that during tough times Bollywood sticks together. Perhaps, that is why it is till date referred to as the film 'fraternity'.

A source revealed, "Hrithik Roshan was at a Juhu five star to launch the first promo of his upcoming film Agneepath. Right after the event, he went to Salman Khan's residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. He wanted to meet Salman before he left the country. Hrithik wanted to wish Salman luck with his treatment in the US. The two actors spent over two hours in each other's company."

Salman and Hrithik had a fight over Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2010 film starring the latter. Salman Khan had commented on the film's popularity, saying, "Koi Kutta bhi nahi gaya dekhne". Hrithik, the lead actor of the film had retorted, "It's not heroic to laugh or make fun of a filmmaker. In my opinion, a hero never gloats. When you are super successful, it should in fact make you more gracious and loving."

Upset with Salman's comment, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali too had said, "If such an old and trusted friend can be so insensitive, I don't want anything to do with the entertainment industry."

Though Bhansali till date has stayed away from a patch up with Salman, Hrithik, it seems has decided to make peace with the Khan. In fact, the thaw between the actors started a few months back at Sohail Khan's birthday party, when they greeted each other warmly. However, the Chillar Party promo in which Salman made fun of Hrithik, acted as a minor roadblock in their path to a patch up. Now, with Salman getting close to the Karan Johar coupe (of which Hrithik is definitely a member), a patch up between the actors was imminent. Also, Khan's health might have instigated a feeling of brotherhood among the two. While Salman's business manager Vikas Kapoor confirmed the visit, both actors remained unavailable for comments.
