Really funny cute interview with shahid-sonam. It so cute at the end when the interviewer asks whether they will become a real life couple and shahid then asks sonam whether he has a chance with her and she gets all shy! aww

I didn't charge dad for Mausam: Shahid Kapoor

Written and directed by Pankaj Kapur, Mausam is based on the love story of an air force officer and a ballet dancer Sonam Kapoor. The chemistry between the couple is smouldering hot.

Shahid Kapoor charges over R15 crore for his films, but the actor hasn't taken a penny for his upcoming film Mausam.

Directed by his father Pankaj Kapur, the film has been made on a budget of RXXX crore. But, the 30-year-old actor clarifies that his fees did not add to the expenses. "It is such a big and expensive film that I didn't want the burden of my fees to fall on the film's budget. We've worked out a structure of sorts, so that my payment is not a burden on the film as of now," says Shahid while on a visit to the Capital. Does that mean he's following a profit sharing model like the Khans. "Please contact my accountant for more details," he says.

Shahid has had a spate of bad luck with international events recently. In August, the music launch of the film in London was cancelled due to the riots in the city, and his live performance at Times Square, New Jersey, was called off after hurricane Irene struck. He now has his fingers crossed that all will go well with Mausam's scheduled premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Friday.

But, the film has reached a stumbling block. Based on the Indian Air Force, a seqeuence in the film needs to reworked after the IAF objected to it. "Certain special effects and computer graphics were added during post-production and that's come under scrutiny. But it's a 30 second sequence and hopefully will be rectified in time." Though he is pragmatic about the cancelled events, he adds, "I'm not making plans for Toronto as of now."

For him, the best part about his role as Squadron Leader Harinder (Harry) Singh was getting to fly an F16 and the worst was having to maintain a moustache! "It is the most difficult thing to maintain! I used to cut myself while trimming everyday. And I will never keep one in the future again," says Shahid, all smiles now that he's back to his clean shaven avatar.

^When they promote movies why do these people ask so many relationship questions! I mean it's like they are trying to get them to say something about their personal life...just ask general opinions about love and relationships...since mausam is about love...but what is all this are you gonna marry in 5 years! ufff...

btw did shahid say a third person can also ruin a relationship *ahem ahem* is he hinting at someone special 😆 and woah he says Sonam is veteran in this...😆 yeh log bhi na!

Mausam stars land at Chandigarh Air Force base

The weather forecast for the Chandigarh Air Force Station was an unusual one for Sunday morning: clear with a 100 per cent chance of stars.

True to the report, stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor descended at the Station to promote their upcoming film Mausam.

Directed by Pankaj Kapoor, the film Mausam is scheduled to be released on September 16.

"Chandigarh holds a special place for me... I have shot for three films here, and shooting for my father's directorial debut film, Mausam, was an unforgettable experience," said Shahid, while narrating his days in Chandigarh and at the Gwalior Air Force Base and how cool it was to play an Air Force officer.

Amidst the discussion, the actor and the Air Commodore S C Chafekar, Air Officer Commanding, 12 Wing cleared the air regarding the controversy shrouding a couple of air Force-based scenes in the film.

"It's not a controversial matter. Aviation is a serious business and we wanted all rules, regulations, processes to be followed exactly the way it is in the film. There was a 30 second shot which has been checked, that's all. There are no cuts or edits," said Air Commodore S C Chafekar.

While Shahid wore a casual look in a tee and jeans, Sonam, on the other hand, looked ravishing in an off white chikankari anarkali and desi jutti.

"All I can say is that Mausam is a love story for all seasons," blushes the actress. Post the interaction with the press, the actors were ferried to the tarmac where they held an open session with the air force officers and also went on to wave the Indian flag.
