Agent Vinod, Ladies V/S Rickky Bhal, Players to release on same day!

Friday, 9 December has got overcrowded. Initially, Saif Ali Khan's home-production AGENT VINOD and Yash Raj's LADIES VS RIKKY BAHL were confirmed for this date, but with Viacom18 deciding to bring PLAYERS on this date, everyone's wondering if this move by Viacom18 has anything to do with the gupshup that AGENT VINOD is likely to be shifted to next year. 2012? Yes, that's the rumor doing the rounds about AGENT VINOD.

But there's no truth to it. In fact, Eros, the partners in AGENT VINOD, maintain that the release date [9 Dec] is locked and there's no possibility of a postponement. Which means, the Friday in question will witness the three films battling it out for not just screen space, but also footfalls at cineplexes. However, the question is, is it a wise decision to have three talked-about films releasing on the same day? Source: So which film do you guys predict will get the bigger opening ? but there are certain first impressions and here Agent Vinod, Ladies V/S Rickky Bhal earns the brownie points

BBB was a fantabulous romcom movie bolly got after a dearth of good movies in the same genre..So its the same team yet another time ready to recreate the magic..expectations are soaring!

Then there is Agent Vinod which is directed by Sriram R whose previous venture was EK HASINA THI- which was one of its kind in bolly..ppl expecting a slick,smart,action thriller wont be missing this..then there is desigal's lovebirds as the leads haha..seriously they are very good actors and given a good script their chemistry will work too

Players-for me the only plus point its an Abbas mastan thriller and usually they do well on BO

So team Agent Vinod, Ladies V/S Rickky Bhal FTW!

I think all three are releasing the same day. I remember Taran tweeting to someone about it who asked.

I would watch AV. Ladies vs Ricky Bahl will be decided upon once the trailer releases. But not going to watch Players.

AND, if you guys wanna see comedy, you never know, you might see that in Agent Vinod as well! I mean...Karenea's doing stunts...who knows how that's gonna turn out *shudders*

AV for me aswell😃 Not sure about Ladies vs Ricky Behl.. Will decide after the trailer but not gonna watch Players for sure.

Players for me! Abbas-Mustan make awesome action movies! plus it has sonam!! 😃 im excited to see Sonam and Neil together for the first time... but not sure if shes with Neil, Abhishek or both...

havent watched the Italian Job though... will soon! is it good?

LOL I was 100% sure Players would change its release date from December 25. 😆

All 3 movies are appealing in their own way but all 3 will lose a good chunk of their audience--players and AV togetehr is a problem because both are a similar genre. LVRB has big expectations because BBB was such a big hit.

Will base my opinion on the trailers..

BUT I do have a feeling we're in for some more chnages. YRF will not budge. Either AV or Players will move IMO..

They always make articles about movies clashing on one date but than articles come out later saying the other movies move to the next dates
