Filmfare campus poll (Part 6)

Who's hot? Who's not? Who's the next big thing? Which is the movie to watch out in 2011? Filmfare polled campuses around Mumbai and the country. Here's what we discovered...

Put Shah Rukh Khan in any film and it becomes gold. Don 2, starring SRK and Priyanka Chopra has already created a mega buzz on the campuses. Be it the scintillating stunts, breathtaking locations or cameos by the likes of Hrithik Roshan, everything seems to be working in favour of this Farhan Akhtar flick.

Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One is also big on the hype meter.

Hrithik's Zindagi Na Milegi Naa Dobara and Ranbir's Rockstar have generated a lot of buzz too. Guess it's the Hrithik-Katrina and Ranbir- Nargis pairings that have got the temperatures soaring.

With Ra.One releasing during Diwali and Don 2 waiting to make a splash around Christmas, it's quite clear 2011 belongs to Shah Rukh Khan. Ra.One is Shah Rukh's most ambitious and expensive film to date and the collegians are anxiously awaiting this superhero flick. With almost half of the poll in his favour, SRK consolidates his king position once again.

Hrithik Roshan gave two flops last year. Still the students have faith in him.

Ranbir Kapoor is the future. Yes we all know that and hence he is right there sharing the second spot with Hrithik Roshan.

Now here's the real shocker; after the super success of Dabangg, one would feel that Salman Khan will top the charts. But surprisingly Chulbul Pandey just manages a meagre 14% of the votes

Kareena Kapoor (Bodyguard, short Term Shaadi, Agent Vinod and Ra.One) 28%

Katrina Kaif (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara) 28%

Priyanka Chopra (7 Khoon Maaf, Don 2 and Agneepath remake) 25%

Vidya Balan (No One Killed Jessica and Dirrty Picture) 10%

Rani Mukerji (No One Killed Jessica) 5%

Sonam Kapoor (Thank You and Mausam) 3%

They are always pitted against each other for the number one spot. And it's no different here. Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif tie for the position. While Kareena has four big films to boast of, Katrina shows her clout with just one film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Let the year end and we'll know who managed to create a bigger stir.

7 Khoon Maaf may have tanked at the box office but Priyanka Chopra's performance in the film has earned her brownie points. Also, two bigger budget films like the Agneepath remake and Don 2 have made PC the actress to watch out for in 2011.

No One Killed Jessica co-stars Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji make peace in the middle positions.
