i just want to say something .the problem not because you like Hrithik or not or youa re afan of him but now no more its your opinion but the big problem sadly most people dont know what the different between didnt live up to the expectation and i dont like him ???
most people here choose actors because they love them or not but the topic is talking about something else when you said this actor didnt live up to the expectation thats mean he start great and then he didnt achieve anything and disapear so how this match Hrithik position and right now he is at the top 5 and one of the biggest superstar ???? This is the problem in simple words at this forum .

That's just one way of looking at the topic though...a lot of members wrote what they personally thought were stars that didn't live to their promises rather than write based on BO success and power, and I think that should be fine ...Now I'm not denying Hrithik's position or star power...he's contributed a lot to Bollywood, is one of the finest actors that we have, and really deserves to be in the top 5, but recently as a viewer he's failed for me and for others in this forum...but I don't feel that same excitement I used to have seeing his films

I feel Genelia did not live up to her promise. I loved her in JTYJN.. in fact she was the lynch-pin in that movie for me. My eyes were always drawn towards her whenever she was onscreen. I thought she would have a bright future in BW.. But then I don't know what happened and she just disappeared, whether by design or destiny, who knows?

I kinda thought harman would be the next big thing when i saw his hrithik-ish promos for LS2050...but then...i saw the movie and 😆

Abhishek B...I thought he would be the next big thing and he did seem like he was coming along ok even until bunty aur bubly...Donno what happened after that...Now he comes across as a lazy actor who doesn't bother about his looks or acting or anything for that matter...SAD!

Vivek Oberoi: He was really good in Company and Saathiya, but is over confidence was the reason for his downfall.

Rahul Khanna: He was brilliant in 1947 Earth but his bad luck is that he is never offered movies with substantial roles, he is getting stuck with special appearances.

Genelia: Liked her a lot in JTYJN and also in the south indian movies that I have seen of her, but moies like Life Patner and Hook Ka Crook really don't help her.

Abhishek Bachchan: While his debut wasn't that memorable he slowly made a nich for himself with movies like Yuva, Bunty aur Bubli, Sarkar, Guru but his other movies example Drona, Game makes people forget about his good movies. He needs to become selective.

Imaran Khna: Brilliant in JTYJN, then don't know what he thought when he signed movies like Kidnap and Luck. Hopefully the tide has turned with Delhi Belly.

Have more will add them later 😃

Hrithik Roshan: I remember I had a mad crush on him when he had his debut with KNPH (he was hot also). He was touted to be the one to topple over the Khans. I think I was 12 at that time? I was in awe with the news and was just waiting for the day he became #1. LOL, I even remember saying to myself "Uh-oh, Aamir, you better be able to save your position." 😆

And now? There... but he didn't become what the industry thought he would become. He also really annoys me now and I just can't stand him. Don't think he's hot anymore either, maybe it's the stupid hair.

Kangana, Aftab Shivdasani, Siddharth, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Soha Ali Khan, Imran Khan and Sonam (though it is too early for the latter two, I don't see them going anywhere).

Stars that I had no hope when they began, but later lived upto my expectations are Abhishek, Kareena and Ranbir.

I think Hrithik has always been more popular than Aamir ever was.

Genelia is a star in the South. Her last good/hit film in the South came in 2006. So she hasn't been doing much in the last 5 years.
