i think that the theme of the film was not that great...i couldnt fathom the older anil fallingin love with younger sridevi...

There were two versions English and Hindi, anyone know where I can find the english version, I beliee the song were also in English

i love this movie! both Anil and Sridevi's acting was amazing!! one of my favourites from YRF! yes it was an unusual topic but i think thats what made it so interesting and different!

i think Anil Kapoor is the most underrated actor ever!! he has such amazing movies and performances... even better than the Khan's but he never got that kind of recognition!

Sridevi is the best!! most talented actress! Lamhe is one of the best double role performances ever!

^^^it comes on set-max every now and then catch it! my god, this movie also had the most hillarious scenes! Anupam was too funny! the medly of old hindi songs was amazing!

Wow, so many people love this movie! I dunno didn't really find it very interesting guess it's just not my type of film. Sri Devi was wonderful in it though.

Lamhe was an excellent movie. I saw it initially when I was 12 years old and instantly fell in love with it. Anil Kapoor was the one who took the cake for me, his innocent and sweet portryal of the young Kunwar Ji had me mystified. I actually felt terrible for him when Sri runs into the arms of another. My other fave was Anupam Kher, the loyal best friend who gave up his own family to be with his friend really won my heart.

The music of the film was amazing!!! To this day I enjoy listening to morrni baga ma bole

I personally don't find the theme to be "bold" considering our country is popular for marrying young girls off with much much older men. I think it was the era. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and remember that time to be conservative. I think we have had bolder themes in the past and of course currently it's just ridiculous, just that decade around the early 90's people had suddently become very traditional.

it is one of my all time favs! have watched it so many times!

Love it..love it..love it!

The movie flopped because people could not digest the fact that anil kapoor ends up marrying the daughter, after being in love with the mother! from what I have heard that kind of story wasn't acceptable by the audience at that time...

but everyone I know..loved this movie to bits...but I guess it didn't click with the masses due to the unconventional theme (for that time)
