She is one of the most popular actress today, and does play a contributing factor, i give her that much.. but the success of a film is mainly a team effort.

I totally agree with every point u made throughout this topic. One movie u forgot to mention was TMK. Her SKJ and her famous jodi with Akki couldn't make a film a big hit. As huge as SKJ was, I expected the film to be a blockbuster or at least a huge hit. But TMK was a semi- hit. And the reason was because the film was plain stupid. See am also not denying Katrina does pull in the audience, but only if her films and her songs are good is when she gets a hit. And also when she starts along an actor audience like to see her with. One of the reason she doesn't want to work with sallu is because she knows they are a flop jodi.

Katrina is the female version of Sallu. You know when someone associate u with a big hit like Dabangg...everyone of your films that release after that becomes a hit. Because audience expect your next film to be as good as your previous films. And sallu has been entertaining the audience ever since Dabangg. Like it or not ppl did enjoy Ready. And it was a hit. Same reason with Katrina, the girl is smart and knows the right movies to pick. Her films are way better than Kareena and PC. The girl knows which script to pick. And I think the audience figured that out...and that's why most of her films are a hit. She is also a female version of Amir...people go see his movies because they know he makes good movies. I for one loved all her movies she is done minus TMK. I can't say the same for bebo. She might be my favorite actress, but she picks the worst movies...MAMK anyone. What a boring crap that was. And katrina never makes that kind of mistake.

Believe it or not...I do look forward to most katrina films because I know her films are going to be entertaining based on her previous work. I didn't like MBKD trailer mainly because of her annoying acting...but am sure it's one entertaining film...so am going to see it.

^ IF only it's easier for me to write an essay when it comes to my school work. I need to take a bollywood class. I would be super easy to write essays on Kat SRK and Kareena and bollywood movies and songs ect lol

I find it hilarious when people, faced with the irrefutable stats of Katrina's hits, come up with.. "But.. but.. what about Yuvraaj?" Yeah.. we get it! Everyone is aware that Yuvraaj was a flop.. probably much more aware than the fact that every other movie she has been in since 2007 has been atleast a semi-hit. But guess what.. even the great Aamir gave a Mangal Pandey. Angelina Jolie gave a "Tourist" with.. gasp... Johhny Depp. So, are we going to say Angelina has no star-power? I am not comparing KAtrina with Angelina but I would like to find the name of a single actor in this world who has never given a flop. If 1 flop in 4 years prove that she is a non-factor at the box-office, then the heroines who give 1 hit in 4 years should not even feature on the Title Credits of a movie.

Her very own(overhyped) item no could not save her movie ( as a leading star) TMK toh how Agneepath would rely on her item dance..!!!!! 😆
