I read a while back that on DKD Salman did not want to say the word 'rai' either so the whole line had to be changed around for him. Don't know how true all this is though...

That's his respect for Aishu... he never wants Media to have masala out of his words... so he avoid always commenting on anything related to her... though when media asked him about her pregnancy, he wished her and bachchan family all well...

If the news is true seems quiet unprofessional of him to walk out. He could have just finished his sentence as if nothing happenned. It wouldnt have become an issue.
