If Zoya Akhtar would have retained the original title of Running With The Bulls of her latest Hrithik-Farhan-Abhay-Katrina starrer, it may just have been an apt to describe the present state of Imran Khan who is going through a purple patch while enjoying a fantastic run with all the 'big bulls'. With a hit Delhi Belly under the belt and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan looking pretty promising as well, Imran has found himself ahead in race, what with past being perfect, present happy and future bright.

Barely days after Delhi Belly, you would now get occupied with Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Some really busy times ahead?
Yeah, that's true. There is a sudden influx of movies though this is not the way I would have planned things for me (smiles).Delhi Belly consumed three years before finally releasing and now Mere Brother Ki Dulhan which was wrapped up first is now arriving immediately.

Many were excited to see you take on Ranbir with his Rockstar arriving on the same day as your Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Were there any discussions of moving ahead your film as that would have given you too some breathing space after Delhi Belly?
Yash Raj Films are quite particular about their strategy and planning so once they announce a date, they don't change it too often. Anyways now I am told that Rockstar has shifted to November so no, there won't be any clash.

After Katrina (Mere Brother Ki Dulhan), you would be seen with Kareena (Short Term Shaadi). Other than Salman Khan, you are the only actor working with both the beauties. Great to find yourself in elite company here?
Yeah, isn't that damn good really? In a matter of one year I have worked with some top heroines. And then to have three top producers (Aamir Khan, Yash Raj, Karan Johar) show faith in you and make a film each is something to celebrate as well. It has been a very good year, I am content.

But then you seem to have gone slow on signing new films. What's happening?
Currently I am in a state where I am spending time reading scripts. I haven't signed any new films and I don't feel the rush to do that either. There are two new films lined up anyways, pehle yeh toh release ho jaaye (smiles)!
