Buzz about Rohit Shetty's next comedy film 'Bol Bachchan' had been around, revolving about its cast. While speculations were rife about Asin being opposite Ajay Devgn and Genelia D'Souza signed for Abhishek Bachchan, latest update is that it is not going to be so.
Birdies revealed that Genelia has opted out of the project, owing to lack of dates. Some sources say that the actress rejected the offer citing that her role in 'Bol Bachchan' was not meaty enough. However others clarified stating that since her dates were clashing with Navdeep Singh's zombie film, 'Shaadi of the Dead' (starring Abhay Deol) Genelia thought it would be better to turn down Rohit's movie.
But that's nothing to worry now, as the director has already found his leading lady. And it's going be none other than the charming Prachi Desai. Yeah, wouldn't it be wonderful to see a fresh pairing as that of Abhishek and Prachi.
Birdies also added that the film will be inspired from Amol Palekar's hit 1979 film 'Gol Maal' and Prachi will be essaying the role of Bindiya Goswami from the original. Abhishek will play Palekar's character whereas Ajay will don Utpal Dutt's role.
