Rani has started her career way before Kareena, Rani maybe bagging fewer roles, but that does not mean that she is less talented, she is more talented then Kareena, but I think glam counts more in Bollywood now days!

It was a joke , BB likes both Rani and Kareena IMO😊

I on the otherhand, Like Preity. Not saying Rani is not talented, she was there a long time. the strange thing is both her and Preity started around the same time and became invisible at the same time too😆

One chose IPL over acting, the other could no longer attract the masses. As the time went Rani lost her starpower, but hey she came back with NO one killed Jessica, and his going to be with Aamir and Kareena in a movie. Lucky her. So jealous wish it was Preity instead. I would have liked Rani had she not taken a "dig" at Preity on KWK who never said anything to her.

I made this thread to read opinions on what people thought. Just because Rani is getting lesser movies than Kareena doesn't make Rani any less of a better actress. I'm not expecting everyone to like her as an actress, but in return people shouldn't expect me to be a fan of their favorite. But anyways this thread is on Kareena and NOT Rani.

I think I connect with Karisma more because unlike Kareena she 'feels it', she can go wrong with her clothing, or she might even go a tad overboard, but what makes me connect, that she connects with the emotions that she is portraying which is marvelous!

I think its unfair to write kareena off as an actor, when compared to karishma..sure everyone has a choice, so ppl can prefer one person over the other...but in the process, i dunt think either of them should be discredited.

She has done enough acclaimed work to stand shoulder to shoulder with her sister...Karishma's most acclaimed performances were zubeidaa, fiza, shakti and DTPH..majority of her career consisted of either govinda-david dhawan-salman comedies, or dharmesh dhrashan melodramas, neither of which truly explored her potential like the 4 aformentioned films did.

Both sisters have had their share of bad choices and bad performances...but when they recieved acclaim, it was always unanimous.

For me, its hard to pinpoint what exactly i like about kareena's acting...but i think this quote from an article of raja sens describes it better.

"There are few current mainstream actresses as self-aware as Kapoor now she doesn't feel the need to wear her character's 'confidence' around her like a pretty shawl and even lesser are as surreally, almost spectrally, stunning."

Karisma has won a national award, 2 best actor popular award, and 1 critics best actor--FF, Kareena has not managed to get as many awards! I do not find Kareena's acting real! and why discredit Karisma's comedy movies with Govinda and Sallu? her comic timing is impeccible! david dhawan till date misses her, and in his current movies the actresses are mainly there for the 'glam' Biwi No.1 was the biggest hit of 1999!! I am sorry but I personally do not enjoy Kareena's acting, she does not seem natural to me, I feel that she does not let herself go, and I find many of her performances such as 'chameli' over-rated

here is my opinion: yes Kareena is over-rated, and like you even I cannot connect with her acting! she seems too fake to me, and when she acts, I actually feel like she is acting, she has hardly made me cry, I believe that Kareena is not a very good actor, I think she is the sort of actor who very well knows what is required of her, but she does not have the art of letting herself go! I think her performance in Chameli is over-rated because personally to me she was not convincing! the only movie I think she did well in was JWM, and that is also because Geet the character is quite like her in real life, and also because Kareena is comfortable in doing loud characters! Her sister is much better, her comic timing, and her acting is much more real!
