it could have been easier if ash just told him before shooting that she was preggy.so irresponsible and unprofessional of her to do this.lot of technicians depended on the film too.

Aish has films lined up in 2012 with Raj Kumar Santoshi, Viacom 18, and Ritupharno Ghosh. Sure, it is a major loss for both as the film is shelved. Sadly, Bhandarkar and Aish will never work together again with each other. If only both had a understanding. Then, this film would have never ended up with this fate!!! I am in favor of Aish suing Bhandarkar, please do something and make sure this guy never makes a film again for a very long long time!!! 😕😕😕

with what confidence can you say that Madhur didn't disclose all of this to Aishwarya?

And why the heck should SHE be the one suing?
It's really easy for her to say, she's Aishwarya Rai, she can get away with a LOT of things.

Madhur aint as rich 😆 he isn't as powerful
and now HE has to be sued?

Really? I honestly think anyone would feel guilty for the rest of their life if something like this happened on their watch... I know I would and I don't know much about Bhandarkar's personality but I think he would too...

And he would get sued by the Bachchans and everything else you said!

He truly might but I get the sense that he gives this sort of melodramatic vibe, especially from this article...Overall I'd like to think in an industry like Bollywood where money is on the line, it's every man for himself rather than 'we are family'...But you're right, any inherently good person would feel guilty if they've unintentionally harmed Aish or her baby in her condition😊

According to Aish, the film was only 45-50 days. Shouldn't we hear her side of the story to? She hasn't even issued a statement yet. And there was no talk of smoking scenes or adult content at Cannes. I don't remember anything along those lines. I think it is pretty obvious that Madhur added things after the fact and Aish is entitled to be upset. She doesn't have to proceed with a film where the director was not upfront with his requirements in the beginning. I don't remember Mani Ratnam, SLB, or even Subhash Ghai acting like this with her. Why does she have a good relationship with those directors? It is not such a huge loss. Many directors in Bollywood can work with Aish in the future after her pregnancy. And if she chooses not to work, that is her preference. Madhur is shady and not up front from what it sounds. It doesn't matter whether or not he is rich. Madhur should be sued for lying to Aish about the requirements of Heroine. And Aish didn't think her pregnancy would be such a big issue. I guess it was her choice not to tell Madhur and she probably had her reasons. 😲

I'm totally sure that Aish knew exactly what the requirements of this film were...didn't she and her family cut out the racy scenes from the original script in the first place before she gave Madhur her 'yes' to the project?

Like I mentioned, we should hear her side of the story to. She hasn't even issued a statement yet. Madhur has spoken his side, now let Aish do the same. 😲

What do you think Aishwarya will say in her statement anyway?

"I was cheated, lied to! I can't believe a mother has to deal with such accusations in this country"

mark my words 😆 aakhir bahu kiski hain

I think she has a good equation with those actors you listed because, well for one, she wasn't pregnant, RIGHT after she agreed to do the film with them

maybe.. not sure though

What were they thinking really? Why did Madhur approach an actress who has been married for 4 years and who as per common sense would be planning to start a family sooner or later especially when he knew the actress has the most important role in the movie. Why not approach Priyanka, Rani who are quiet competent themselves?
And why on earth did Ash sign a film like Heroine when she was already pregnant? What was she really thinking given the delays that happen in Bollywood? Shouldnt her priority been motherhood rather than another great film when she has so many? Someone can you please clarify what went on in Ash's mind?
