SONAM waves flag @ Shilpa who was offended after

One wouldn't have thought a surgery could create controversies and strain relationships. But in Bollywood it is actually possible with a popular chat show becoming the platform for it. This is exactly what happened between Anil Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty last year.

On December 11, 2010 we had reported how Anil Kapoor had rewarded Shilpa Shetty as 'the worst case of botox' on Karan Johar's chat show. Not only that, he went on to narrate how her lip and nose job during Badhai Ho Badhai disrupted the entire shooting.

Shilpa Shetty was reported to be extremely upset about it. The Kundras had ever since ignored the Kapoors. But now it seems the war has ended. Apparently, it was Anil's diva daughter Sonam who took up the cudgels to douse the fire for her father.

Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra were recently spotted chatting up very warmly with Sonam at a Juhu restaurant. Shilpa and Raj entered the restaurant around 10.30 pm. Exactly five minutes later, Sonam came in with her sister Rhea and a friend.

While the trio was settling down, Sonam spotted Shilpa. She immediately walked up to her and greeted her. A witness says, "In fact, Sonam sat down with them for a good ten minutes. She was also advising them on a few delicacies available in that restaurant. It seemed that she frequently visits this place and knows their menu like the back of her hand."

As they chatted up further, the trio seemed to revel in each other's company. Reveals the witness, "Shilpa and Sonam met like long lost friends.

One had read in the papers that Anil's statement had hurt Shilpa no end lekin yeh teeno ko dekhkar aisa bilkul nahin lag raha tha ki inme koi tension thi. They spoke neither about Anil nor work, thereby keeping the conversation very undiplomatic and friendly." Sonam, being a sorted girl and a trademark for the new-age cool, took this burden of being the mediator and did an impressive job.
