sridevi was definitely the No. 1 heroine of her time and the ONLY actress to get hits solely on her shoulders! her star power and talent is unmatchable!
some of the covers even say Unquestionably No. 1 and Sridevi: the hero of the movie?... etc.

the only actress comparable to sridevi was madhuri because she too was the complete package!

there was the sridevi era, then the madhuri era... who is the next superstar heroine?
superstar = complete package... acting/dancing/star power/x-factor/popularity

present noone cos all the scripts in BW demands actresses who are sexy,zero sized blah blah but not one script is dere where it has potential for actresses ufff

NOt true.

Actresses today are doing more challenging work than the melodramatic actresses of the 90s.

Think of the roles Vidya does. Or Priyanka, Rani, Aish.

I know presently Kareena hasnt been doing such work, but she has in the past as well, Chameli, Omkara, Dev, etc.

dats why i said present cos in past kareena also has done very good projects like u sid chameli,omkara,JWM and even PC also in fashion etc..and Rani no comments i find her too loud

but now i dont find such kinda roles for present actresses...

i really hope BW gets much better scripts..
