Funny because Sonam has always praised Saawariya and said many times she's proud of it and is grateful to SLB. The comment she made here was not even offensive. Sonam has yet to say a negative thing about Saawariya.

PS: The blue jokes bothered me for 2 years 😆 now I don't care...I like Saawariya but I can take the blue jokes. Not everyone has to like what I like...

Ads, you know I love the man, I really do. I am in the minority but I love all his movies. Even if they are a bit colorless but I didn't find Sonam's comment rude. SLB's movies are monotonic, it's a fact and she wasn't bashing him.

And yes SLB made Sonam...he had a big big big hand in bringing Sonam into Bollywood and I think Sonam knows that too. Didn't we get an article about how Sonam was running around for SLB on Guzaarish's premiere right after KWK epi ended? Bollywood is so freakin' complicated!

And true, Sonam looked amazing in Saawariya but she looked even more beautiful in D6, IHLS and Aisha. 😕

Fari, it is true his films are monotonic but it comes across as rude because everyone has bashed him for the whole color thing...the last thing you want to hear it is from your mentee. I liked her answer it was funny but I can see why SLB is unhappy. I think he has the right to be a little upset about it.

Having said that, I don't like him going on and on implying she doesn't respect Saawariya or something...SLB needs to relax. Guzaarish was also Black and blue...Black was all black and grey...three movies in a row with dark colors...it's not about Saawariya so I don't know why he thinks Sonam was making fun of Saawariya! She would never do that!

I think SLB shld take a chill pill... This is the problem with these mentors... Ek break kya de diya they think they own those people... Didnt the same thing happen with DP Farah... Wasnt Farah too all hyper that DP was not giving her any attention after OSO... There was nothing wrong in what Sonam said... This colors ka joke is an inside joke in the industry and many do that... Just that these two did it on national TV and this has pissed him off...

SLB made two of the most colourful movies in bollywood. HDDCS and Devdas...these two movies had awesome sets and costumes...I don't think anyone will forget the beautiful costumes Aishwarya wore. He experimented with black and blues and it didn't work so what's the big deal...It's not like he ONLY worked with those colours...I think people need to give him a break...direction is not an easy job and he has already proved that he can direct good movies...sometimes in life everything we do may not give us the best results.

Sonam nevers thinks before she speaks.

The thing that bothers me about SLB is that he over-hypes his films since he thinks he is such an "awe-inspiring" director, and then when his films fail, he refuses to understand why he did not relate to the masses. Instead he lashes against so and so for saying this or that and then hides away. And then his 'creativity' is such a farce as well; immediately after Saawariya tanked, he roped in Aish and Hrithik, who had experienced maha success with JA, so that he could have a hit. And then he spent months just chanting how great of a director he is in Indian cinema

He goes all out but then can't take it when others truthfully criticize him or defeats him in terms of box office.

Exactly😆

The reverse logic also works: if no one understands his pain, music, art, etc, then why on earth would you make the same product again and again? People won't watch what they don't understand😆

lol..absolutely...and selfishly blowing up crores of rupees just for the sake of his indulgence is just not done...poor producers and distributers...😕...why do they ever invest their money on this guy??
