SRK has no time for friends like me

Juhi Chawla, one of the few people who have remained close to King Khan despite differences, speaks up

Shah Rukh Khan (above) and Juhi Chawla's (below) friendship has stood the test of time.

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla have been friends since their Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman days. Their last film together was Amol Palekar's Paheli.

Since then both have done cameos in each other's films, Bhoothnath, Krazzy 4 and Om Shanti Om cementing a bond, which has stayed as strong unlike many other Bollywood friendships..

They had even formed a partnership and produced films like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. But it dissolved. "I think Shah Rukh and I have remained friends because we stopped being business partners. I realise it's impossible to mix business with friendship," says Juhi citing the reason for it.

Admitting the fact that the friendship did have its rough phases, Juhi says, "Our relationship did go through a rough patch.

When I realized our friendship was suffering because of the partnership I chose to keep the friendship and let the business partnership go.

Today after a long gap we're again together in the IPL . Let's hope nothing goes wrong. I got to meet him at the match recently after so long. He has no time for friends like me."

However, at one point in time Shah Rukh had been by Juhi's side when she needed a friend. "When I lost my mother in Prague while shooting for Duplicate in 1998, Shah Rukh was there right beside me like a pillar of strength.

Isn't that what a true friendship is all about?"

ur losin it! frnds do not cum in handy these days.... ur not the 'king' anymore.... shesh... really feel dissapointed in this guy now whom i used to admire....

PS. i do not post but this just had to be let out... as a person i have been forgotten by my 'FRNDS'... its horrible.... but u know wat karmas a bitch...hope he soon realizes wat he is doing to himself...

juhi and srk should do a movie together. like for example they could have taken her in kareenas role in ra one because kareena looks too young to be the mom of the child they have in there. i dunno. but juhi is perfect for a mom type role

Are you aware a 30 year old woman can give birth at 20 and thus be a mom at 30 of a ten year old kid?

yes i am aware. i clearly said she LOOKS too young to play a motherly role, not that she is to young.

This article is very confusing.

I think Juhi & Shahrukh have been one of the most consistent friends in the entire industry. I think all good friendships go through a rough phase. And then people become involved in their individual lives. Some are still able to keep in touch while others just get too involved in their work which seems to be the case with SRK (according to this article).

Juhi's statement,however, is very confusing. Especially the part where she says that SRK has no time for friends like her. 😕 Somehow I can't see Juhi saying that. She and Shahrukh had always bonded together and have been really close.

As Juhi also said he has been there for her in times of need. So I wouldn't say that he has no time for friends like her. Because if he didn't he wouldn't have cared to be by her side.

Shahrukh has a lot on his shoulders all the time whether it be his movies or his personal/social life. I don't think he ever forgets his close friends. I just think the problem here is that he & Juhi haven't met up in a long time. I personally feel that there is a difference of when you talk on the phone with each other vs when you actually meet the person. From the article it seems like they have been out of touch for so long and it felt nice reuniting during IPL.

Either way I hope these two carry their friendship along forever. They are such a sweet and cute pair & I just wish them all the success in their friendship. Hope to see another movie of them together soon! :-)
