Yup, that's Shaimak Davar. I think it came out around the time Pankaj Udhas was coming up with a lot of pop albums. There was one more with an Actor who also debuted as a singer with a pop album... Can't recall it now... Trying to look for it.

Who remembers Malgudi days???This used to be a favorite past time for me and my dad. It was only doordarshan on those days..

Kyak, Malgudi days came on TV Asia few years back so I recorded and watched it all. Same with Fauji.The doordarshan one I don't remember much. I wish some channel showed all those classic shows again.
