I know I sound liek a huge fan, I'm not but I have huge respect for him and all the actors in the 90's. The actors today don't compare. That why you still have the Akshays and the Khans ruling bollywood.

I loved Rimi Sen in hungama, and I'm guessing you haven't watched Suniel Shetty in the hit movie Dhadkan?
I don't judge an actor by the 'grades' they are put in. The majority of our 'A' listers cant even act e.g. Deepika, Sonam, Katrina, Aishwarya, the list is endless!Although .. I don't know why ANYONE would say yes to star in a movie like thankyou? 🤢

Ok, I don't understand why Aish has to be brought into this topic and bashed! I didn't even mention Aish in my original post. Saying she is a disgrace is ridiculous. Aish is considered "A" grade because she has always done big-banner movies, come with great costars, strong demand, popularity, and ability to keep herself in the public eye. Celina Jaitley, Rimi Sen, Rakhi Sawant, etc. never had these qualities and it is way to late for them to even possess that! "B" grade are stars who come in supporting roles, mediocre acting ability, low demand, and are not even popular! Where did Rimi Sen come from all of a sudden? She has not done a big-banner film in at least 3 years I believe! So, I guess she needed "work." Same with Celina and all these others, what was the last film they have done in years, if any?! 😳
And yes, I do consider Sunil Shetty B-grade. He is a supporting actor and never had a real big hit on his own merit. So, what if he won an award for acting in a film noone ever watched? And all the hits he had were supporting roles to Akshay. 😕This "B" grade term has been around in Bollywood for years, it is nothing new! And the same thing is applied in Hollywood and other film industries around the world for that matter!

Are you serious?! Noone even remembers Rimi Sen and what she ever did in Bollywood! Aish is a established Bollywood and international actress who has been around since 1997. She has done mega films like HDDCS, Taal, Devdas, Jodhaa Akbar, Guru, Dhoom 2, Robot, Bride and Prejudice, and so many others! Plus, she has won many awards and done even regional cinema like Chokher Bali and Iruvar! Did Rimi even do 10% of what Aish has done?! Rimi does not even apply to Aish in the same sentence, what an insult! 🤢

Im glad that many on this forum consider Suneil a good actor..he does not deserve to be called a B grade...so does Celina or Rimi..just because they are not star kids, they dont desrve that treatment! although I too dont like Celina as an actress, but Rimi def. had the potential to make it big!!

In Hollywood they may use the terms 'A grade' 'B grade' 'C grade' But, Hollywood does not have this absurd trend where all the star kids automatically gain free entry into the industry and automatically become tagged an 'A lister'. People work hard to actually earn the tag. That includes years and years of work. And giving praise worthy performances which do wonders at the box office. That's the difference between Hollywood and Bollywood.Bollywood star kids seem to think that because their mothers and fathers were superstars that automatically makes one them too. 😆 They don't have to work, they are born 'A listers' born with silverspoons in their mouths.

vah bhai va TM .. like Zainab said tera pyar pyar .. aur mera pyar sex? 😆 I think all the people who grew up in the 90's watching Suniel Shetty flicks will remember he was a pretty popular actor in his times. And he's given some memorable performances too .. Gopi Kishan, Mohra, Dhadkan, Hera pheri, Phir hera pheri etc
since you seem to think an actor becomes 'A grade' by working in 'big banner movies' even if they are brainless, and pukeworthy like Thankyou, and TMK and giving 'hits' then, Aishwarya should be considered a 'B grade' since she has had more flops than hits in the last few years. Same with Deepika, Sonam, Abhishek, Akshay, Salman, Emran, .. oh wait! That's the majority of the A listers. 😲As far as 'bashing' Aishwarya is concerned, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. In my opinion Aishwarya sucks in commercial movies, a la dhoom2 and Action replayy. She's a decent actress in historic/artistic movies but that may be because her rolesare more subtle. If the movie does well .. her average performance becomes oscar worthy. The only Aishwarya movie I genuienly enjoyed was Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. In Hollywood they may use the terms 'A grade' 'B grade' 'C grade' But, Hollywood does not have this absurd trend where all the star kids automatically gain free entry into the industry and automatically become tagged an 'A lister'.
