i would find this whole thing calculated. she waited for her career to get back on track. then slowly reveals her relationship...n then sticking to her innocent image..announces marriage.

i've stated this many times. i would be disappointed in rani for misleading and lying to her fans. its as simple as that.

@B: Agree it's both their special days, and Abhi wanted Rani there he should have spoke up, but then Duggu is a childhood friend and wasn't invited and either was Arjun who is good friends with Aishu since her modeling days. All I'm saying is that not everyone was invited but Abhi said they sent ppl who they couldn't invite some kind of sorry/explanation card so that could be it....or maybe Abhi-Rani weren't as close as the media made them out too be....OR maybe not inviting Rani was Abhi's wedding gift to Aishu (ok this one is a joke)!

Rani has had a messy love life..Every girl is not that lucky i guess.. She seems stable and happy in her life right now.. I am glad that she is has the guts to talk about every actress that she has interacted with.. even though with some of them she did not share a good equation.. but at least she confronted everything and everyone with a positive attitude.

@B: Oh yes I forgot to tell you...when asked which actress would be the best to play Jaya Bachchan's role in Mili he said Rani...and when asked about his fav co-stars he said Rani too!

javed akhtar and his family Farhan shabana azmi

dharmendra and his family hema esha bobby sunny

Jeetendra and his family

Feroz Khan Fardeen Khan Sanjay Khan Zayed Khan

and they invited Dimple Kapadia and Rinke Khanna but dont invite

Twinkle Khanna and akshay kumar

and I think Those people have good Relationship With bachchan family more than rani

But they said because Amitabh's mother is sick They tried to limited invitations Only to Close Close friends to them

But Marriage is about compromise and understanding and Abhi understands that Aishu and Rani aren't close and things happened between them and he supports her decision of not having her there....also I don't know the exact conversations they had post-CC and since I don't know what exactly went done and how hurt both of them were...I can't say they both should forget it and get over it b/c maybe more was said than should have been. And K Jo has tried to get them to be friends again and for some reason it hasn't worked...so good luck them to both, but I don't see anything friendship between the two!

And just bcoz they are 'The Bachchans' why shld they invite the entire film industry...I dont get it....

Obviously they will invite people who they are comfortable with... who the family members get along with ..and who matters to the family....

So obviously Rani...SRK... Hrithik and the rest of Bolywood did not figure in the list of invitees...

Its funny the backlash which happened after the wedding as if the Bachchans had created a crime in not inviting these people...

In India weddings are just not regular small affairs.. they are grand affairs.. and yes.. even a common man invites everyone from their workplace.. to every relative.. to every one in jaan pehchaan.. and THE BACHCHANS.. go around proclaiming themselves as the first family of bollywood.. and they have such small hearts ... that they didn't invite more than half of bollywood in their wedding.. Hritik is AB's childhood friend.. and next door neighbor.. also.. and he wasn't invited.. amitji has worked in this industry.. since forever.. everyone treats him with such respect.. all youngsters go on and on about his legacy... and he has such a small heart.. its like how Prince William's wedding is happening now.. it would look petty.. if they don't invite more than half of the people that matter to them.. People in bollywood invite everybody even in their 3rd or 4th wedding... in Neelam's second wedding.. I saw everbody in bollywood... and here it was Amitji's only son's wedding.. and he didn't invite anybody.. even a common man is more large hearted than the bachchans..
