I would go by what professional trade analysts have to say over some random info on the internet without a single link. But suit yourself. If you want to believe what a production house to say about the fate of it's own movie over a third person's version who makes a living out of doing this stuff.

Sonam is a girl. She's from India even if her eyes look Chinese. So shes' a desi girl. End of. Prove to me she's not Indian and I would stop arguing with you about this.

Just relax.....I think we all know what does a term 'desi girl' literally means...so no need to bang your head for that....but I think sonam was not talking in that context.....

Umm actually she was. She said after Saawariya and Delhi 6, everyone thought she's a desi girl.. I don't remember her being anything like PC from Dostana in either Saawariya or D6 and I have watched those movies way too many times. So ya.

So what are we even arguing about here? I'm confused. You refuse to believe anything and anyone who says that Aisha wasnt a success, I mean please pull up some reliable websites that say that Aisha was a hit.

okkk......lets get this straight .......Well sonam was saying or rather trying to say that after dilli 6 and sawaariya she was known as desi girl....but as far as I remember no one called her a desi girl......she was always known as fashion icon..........the same thing i said in my earlier post...........

No she wasn't called a fashion icon in the early days. In fact during Saawariya days, her fashion sense was often put down. Believe me, I have been following her before Saawariya even released. It wasn't until after Delhi 6 when she started to do more of photoshoots and blah blah that she started to be called a Fashion Icon. Between Saawariya and Delhi 6, she went missing under a rock.

Eraser, what would be reliable sources for you? Because what I conside reliable sources, you might consider biased!
