Maybe...

don't get me wrong, they're two of my most favorite actresses ever. the magic they've showed onscreen in the 90s has verrry rarely reappeared afterwards

but if a script doesn't do them justice, like Aaja Nachle did with Madhuri, then everything goes kinda phus. People said things like Madhuri ko jaa ke waapas aana nahin tha, and it hurt to read that but I guess i understood the sentiment.

so yes, the scripts reaaally gotta be it

I don't believe in comeback..what is up with these long breaksss...or stop on the right time.. lol ...look at hollywood.. there are beautiful actresses who are 40 plus and having children and they still working as actresses... in whatever role... lol never hear over there about comebacks... but india.. it seems like a crime.. sometimes... ?? You are either an actress or not... and stay home!!!

Exactly what I was about to say. Actors like Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sunny Deol who are all much older than Sridevi and Madhuri and the Khans who are about the same age or older should have been in their safe ages back.

they are precious so they should not come back seriously i hate anil kapoor doing all that romantic scenes on-screen bcz he is old and her daughter is also in bollywood. whereas i feel that dharmendra has also destroyed his image by acting in yamla pagla deewana as rajesh khanna did. That is why i said that they should not come back
