God I HATE peopel who think that punjabis, gujus, etc are the best thing to ever happen and that htey are seprarate from everyoen else.

Hell I even hate patriotism sometimes because of this very reason. We are better than everyone else. I dont think so. Unpopular notion, I know I know, but its just what I feel.

Priyanak might've snapped, I might've just thrown my joota at him.

yeh true...the patriotic poem also reads "saare jahaan se accha, hindustan hamara"..i dunt think tht notion is quite right...u say "hindustan hamara hai mahaan" or something...thts fine... like aamirs dialogue in ghajini "i can do it is confidence, i am the only one who can do it is over confidence".... thts one of the main reasons why i liked swades...it shatters that notion and says india is a gr8 country, but its not like its better than every other country out there...and neither are the other countries better than india...its just a matter of perception and choice...

😔 Priyanka has been working very hard lately! Poor girl is shooting back to back and promoting her new film, plus shooting for ads. Now the story of this ridiculous fan provoking her is not good at all! I am sure she will be fine. She sounds like a fighter! 😡

Agreed Smarie, we can really launch on a debate here!

But in a nutshell, I was raised with the notion that Pakistan zindabad. Pakistan was the best. Afterall, I was born there, and spent the first 10 years of my life in that country.

But moving to the U.S really changed everything. I met peopel from different backgrounds, and all amazing individuals. I love my life here, and I loved my life in Pakistan. So how coudl one be better than the other? I sorta abandoned all notions of patriotism there. I'll credit a very close friend for helping mold my thoughts in that way. We're all the same yaar. So better worse kahaan se aaya? It just causes prejudice in my eyes. Like when I was younger, I use to have this feeling that Indians were...different from me. I didnt know how or why, but it was just kinda instilled.

Now my best friend is Indian, and she's like my sister. And we laugh when I tell her the ways of my mind back when I was a kid. What did patriotism do to me back then except alienate a group of people?

Priyanka needs to go to some far distant island and not be in the news for a while!!!

And ladies, since we are all speculating a conspiracy behind this...I think rather than Kareena sending the guy, it was Priyanka herself who paid off the guy to gain some sympathy. ;) Just adding on to the "bechari" act...

Anyway did I mention she needs to disappear for some time??
