I usually like Aish in films like Devdas, JA, ect...she nails those. Maybe even more than other actresses. This is where she excels IMO. Urbaan roles are not for her IMO.

No way! Rani and Aish are both horrible in urban roles

Rani is good at playing the Indian sanskaari NRI types like in Hum Tum but then she failed in Ta Ra Rum Pum when she had to play this absolute NRI (the hair and getup did NOT work for her)

As for Aish, she herself knows that she isn't that good at playing urban roles, that's why she mostly steers clear of it. She usually sticks to period films instead

Priyanka Chopra, I think she fits the bill when it comes to urban roles. She's got the voice, the looks, and the body to pull it off.

I'd go with Preity out of this list merely because I adored everything about her in Kal Ho Na Ho, as an NRI in NY. I didn't like the film as much as I liked Preity and her performance. 😆
