Aamir to Work with Priyadarshan On AIDS Film

While Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan have worked with film maker Priyadarshan in the past, the ace Khan i.e. Aamir has never rubbed shoulders with him. But as is said, there is always a first time; so it would be for the first time that Aamir shall be working with Priyadarshan.

The film's subject is the dreaded and incurable disease AIDS and it would be a serious genre of cinema with no song or comic sequence. Apparently, the film is going to be a message-oriented one and is likely to teach the young India a thing or two about the consequences and trauma of an AIDS patient.

The film is still on the scripting stage but Priyadarshan has stated that Aamir has shown his keenness in the film. "I met Aamir and narrated my idea. He loved it. I now need to complete the script," cites Priyadarshan.

Aamir's role is not yet known and no official announcement has been made from his side. But if all goes well then it is possible that we may get to see him essay an AIDS patient. This won't be the first time that Mr. Perfectionist would be doing a message-themed film. His films like 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Taare Zameen Par' and even '3 Idiots' had a strong message for the nation.
