Everyone ages. You can't expect a 45 year old to look the same like he/she was when he/she was 30 or so.

no doubt. but we can't also deny the fact that smoking is causing a bad effect on him.

LOL. No one is asking a 45 year old man to look like a 30 year old but that does not mean he should look like a 60 year old either. Anil Kapoor, who is a lot older than SRK, looks younger than him.

Was Gauri acting aloof with him at the time? I don't know anything stressful about his life at that point, except for the stress of possibly falling flat due to Saawariya (which in retrospect, sounds really silly)

I know stress can play a role....Abe Lincoln when he was first president and then his face four years later looked VERY different

^^ I watched OSO just once and this was before I started to read anything bollywood related or joined IF. never realized he had to build those muscles, always thought he had them. 😆
