yes, it is a copy...!

i went to a Turkish restaurant couple of weeks ago... and they were playing a song exactly with the same tune... i should have asked the waiter what song it was... 😆 but it wasn't russian, that's for sure... because it seems to be different from what i heard...!

but yes, they seem to have done a good job with the hindi version... it would be useless to think they acquired the rights to copy the song... 😛😛 but who knows...

There is nothing wrong recreating a song in a local language as long as due credit is given to the original composers... the original is a Russian folk song, and Vishal has never attempted to hide that. I personally prefer the original version cause the Hindi one is highly annoying, the way singer rolls her r's is grating.

Is it a folk song? I'm asking because this is AR Rahman and he doesn't need to copy his songs. If it is, as Emptiness has said, then I think it's alright

Now if its copyrighted, it's another story😉😆
