err why do Salman have a problem to get a star launch? He is salim ji's son, and his family is established family in bollywood. That's a news for me, he is a star kid.

Then he launched sonakshi? errr she is a star kid too, 😆

Anushka /deepika/ Gayathri Joshi from non family background got the chance with SRK, I think because they are talented and , they suit for the director.They got the chance after going through few screen tests/interviews.

anyways,I don't see actor's role in this. They do work with previous ladies too. So I believe, they go for a new face if the story demands a new face.

SALMAN- ready are with previous actresses. I don't see a logic in this thread. new actors need to come and they always did.

it's not really a new trend with the khans... it's been happening ever since... fact is most of the actors enjoy the longevity of careers that the most of the actresses don't... rajesh khanna romanced tina munim, who looked like his daughter... 😛😛 rishi romanced urmila, and how many other younger girls... 😛😛

That's because the previous reigning actresses' shelf lives have basically ended unfortunately. So new blood has to be brought in to replace them even though the actors themselves don't want to prematurely end their own careers😆

Its how Bollywood is - a heroine's shelf life is very small. Didnt Akshay say albeit jokingly that he would romance Karishma's daughter too one day. Its a strech but not too far from reality.

I dont think the Khans do it out of the goodness of their hearts to help newcomers.

Why blame the Khans? If so called queens of bolly (who are OSCAR worthy according to many on bs forum) like Ash or Rani cant give atleast 1 hit by themselves or even with succesful actors like Akshay/Hrithik then whose fault is it? No other explanation just cuz audience are bored already 😆..
Cant help if they dont have the same BO pull or charisma of the Khans ..Its the result of mentality of indian viewers coupled with individual star power of these actresses..There used to be Madhuri,Sridevi,Rekha who ruled industry for more than 15 yrs and deserved the superstar title ..Aaj ka queens cant even remain in top will continous 10 yrs 😆..we will actually expect more improvement on this front as generation passes by !..Instead here its on downward spiral..Reason will have something to do with actresses of this decade as well? 😉..Oh! forgot all yester year actresses were overrated maybe thats why 😛
