She didn't say anything suggestive. She just said the blantant, obvious, and already spoken truth: Sonam and Deepika are known for their clothes, and especially controversies. If anyone thinks otherwise, then they must have been sleeping under a rock when that KWK episode aired.

Anushka and Ranveer may or may not be dating, but she at least has made it clear that she's not going to drag her personal life into it. She sort of rubbed off on me as a bit of a controlling person, maybe arrogant too. That's okay though, nobody's perfect but Anuskha seems to have a bit more decorum than her "contemporaries".

And if I were her and I was faced with that question, I would probably give that response too. She's had three good films but you never really hear about her compared with Deepika and Sonam. I'd probably be wondering why as well

I really don't see the big deal. She said what she felt..and we can't really deny that Sonam is known as a fashionista and Deepika as the controversy queen. We keep hoping that actresses/actors would open-up and be less diplomatic- and when Anushka did..she's being given the rude/insecure title? I don't get that. She just said the simple truth..

But yes, if the girl wants to be more known.. she will have to appear on magazine covers and attend more events. Now thats upto her ofcourse..

Yes there is a better way to answer that question. She could have ended her response with...I don't know why am not popular as Deepika and Sonam even after giving 3 back to back hits(which by the way it's not true. Only one of her film is a clean hit). WHy did she have to go on and say that she is glad she is known for her talent rather than for the clothes she wears. That's so uncalled for.

And there is way to be honest without bringing down other actress. And don't bring kareena into this topic. Her honesty about yes am #1 actress today doesn't mean she is taking a dig at other actresses. So please keep bebo out of this topic. She has nothing to do with this topic.

Ok I thought that question is a bad question to begin with. It's asking Anushka to take a dig at Sona/Deeps.

lol Anushka is as much in the news as sonam and deepika! I like them all but all have their own place.

who cares for what reasons. Good for sonam and deepika for making their mark on people's heart. Everyone has to do their own thing, they can't make Anushka papular, she has to do this on her own.

Am sure if another actress would have said this, she would have been named arrogant. Double standard on this forum. 🤢
