Karan wants 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' sequel: Big B

New Delhi, Dec 26 (IANS) He brought together the three biggies of Hindi cinema - Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan - in his blockbuster hit 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' in 2001 and filmmaker Karan Johar is now pitching for a sequel to the family saga, reveals Big B.

'Karan Johar and we talk of cinema and other lighter moments. His visit to Goa and the sudden impulse to do a sequel to 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', for he felt that all the relevant characters were still around and 'how',' Big B posted on his blog.

'It would be a story on the groW*H of the brothers and the problems that arise because of their independent understanding and working of the business empire of the father, a split within them and so on,' he added.

Also starring Jaya Bachchan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor, the movie was the highest grossing Indian film in the overseas market.

An active blogger, Amitabh has now left his decision for the Part II on the fans' discretion.

'I tell him I shall run a reaction to this on my blog and seek information on its feasibility. So what does everyone feel? Yes or no? (sic)... Tel me tell me tell me...no,' he wrote

I dont think this will happened and i dont think its agood idea but just imagine if the news became official and we see Hrithik and Kareena again ???

KJO is more capable of making family dramas than MNIK.

part 2 to K3G just wont make sense man

not every film can have part 2..im sure ko can think of something new

Whatever man !! ANYTHING ANYTHING to see SRK-Kajol again onscreen..Missing them so so much..Frankly MNIK never highlighted or was actually about their chemistry..One last time I wanna see them in a regular bolly movie with typical romnantic scenes and dance sequence hehe:)

wow this is a coincidence I was thinking since 2 days maybe just mayb KJO will change his decision to NOT make SRK-Kajol movie ever post MNIK..sigh !! If not the sequel then a new movie along the lines of Chalte chalte or something .Though m sure I m in minority in bolly forum regarding this lol

oh don't tell me.....again AB throw shahrukh and kajol out and again hrithik and kareena sets out to get them back........

Totally agree and thats why i think its noot agood idea .K3G is not afilm that you can make asequel to it.If he want to make afamily drama then make anew film with the same cast will be something mindblowing .
