What's with the Impact of name 'MAYA' in Bollywood

Its really silly but i wanna know wat impact does 'Maya' name in bollywood..

I mean...whenever almost a character maya is introduced in films, the girl is obviously involved in extra-martial affairs, not seems happy with her husband, breaking all rules of society, a bad daughter - in law or daughter whatever, doing everything for her sake..etc etc

I have seen atleast ten movies carrying this character ,maya' having the same reflect of women..for example - maya memsaab , maya in kabhi alvida, maya of payal rahtogi in vaasna, and so many other b grade movies in which maya has name is carried

is that name so impactful😕😆😆

When you said the name Maya it reminded me of Dil To Pagal Hai 🤣🤣🤣

lol even she had walked against the social way, she said signals to akshay and didn't say no to him when he proposed....but in the end , she catches shahrukh...oh boy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Maya means.. dream... illusion... something mystic...

I guess in Bollywood movies if someone who does not fit in the pativrata mold or the goody two shoes mold they end up naming her as Maya.. 😆

well in hinduism, maya means attachment to "worldly" objects and attachment is bad for you, i guess maya has a bad connotation....just a guess 😊
