Ash's american accent was funny when she was on the Oprah show😆
n ya, Madhuri Dixit shud never speak in tat accent of hers😆...specially her stress on the word,'ddance'😆... oh, tell me about it, I was 😲 to hear her "dyance" instead of "dance", made me 🥱😆, I mean agreed she is the US for the last 8+ yrs, but c'mon not u, i can totally understand her kids having that accent, but her, no no...😕😆
n Mallika Sherawat...the less said the better😲 true, "waterr", "byathroom"🤣, HILARIOUS !!!!

Isn't it sad that our actors never take pride in talking in our National Language, but always prefer speaking in English?😕
I can understand those who are from the South / East, they probably have a lower exposure to Hindi language, but those born and brought up in North or Mumbai side struggling to speak in Hindi is rather pathetic to see!
I am not saying that the actors should never speak in English. If they are asked questions in English, then it is only logical that they answer in the same language! But what I find very amusing is when these local news channels interview our actors and specifically speak in Hindi (because most of their target audience is hindi speaking), our actors will put on weird accents and answer back in English!
Someone has said truthfully, Angrez Chalegaye, peeche Angrezi cho gaye!😆
PS: I really admire Vidya Balan, SRK and Amitabh Bachachan in this regard! As far as I have noticed, these three always answer in hindi, when they are questioned in hindi!

accents, not those who have Indian accents😛

Exactly. Having a South Indian accent and a fake english accent is not the same thing.

Deepika's accent is not fake. Its just the way she talks😊

I haven't heard Kunal Khemu speaking in English yet. But yeah, ppl tend to change their way of speaking in English according to the country they are in, which I find somewhat funny. When the Hollywood ppl are in India, they don't change their accent. Why Hollywood, take any foreigner, he wont change his accent if he is in India or any other country other than his own. So why our ppl think its necessary to do that??😕

Maybe our people r a bit 'Flexible' that way lol

It is Sad and the most annoying thing is that even when the other person speaks to them in Hindi they reply to it in English or should I say Hinglish 😡

The Kahavat for these B'wood wannabe's should be 'Angrez Chale gaye, peeche in wannabe Angrezo ko chod gaye' 😆

I was under the impression that Priyanka spent some years in America. If this is true, then her idhar udhar accent is understandable. Aish, she is so beautiful, I forgive her her accent.
In fact, here in South Africa, every region has a different accent, you can just tell some-one from Cape Town from some-one from Johannesburg or Durban.
I think you tend to imbibe what is around you. We Durbanites always mock those who left Durban to go to Johannesburg for a job and then they come back 3 months later with the accent. It is more laughable than annoying.
Case of osmosis - you know...movement from higher density to a lower density, or maybe, when in Rome do as the Romans.😉
