i dunt know why i watch Mujhse dosti karoge again and again...everytime its on tv...i cant turn it off until the movie's finished....i just cant!!!! therz nothing in that movie tht i would normally like....ultra good looking stars with manish malhotra clothes, a duet in swiss, a shaadi number, wannabe-cool, wannabe-yash chopra, pretentious, silly,....i can just go on an on...but i guess it falls into the "so bad its actually good" category....and the worst part is...i actually sob everytime i watch hrithik singing kuch kuch hota hai to rani in the rain....normally im the first one to cringe at such moments....but i dunno...with this one...i turn into something else....whts wrong with me!!?😆

Why did MDK flop? It wasn't that bad...I mean, worse movies have worked, and this was backed up by YRF with three A-grade stars of that time.

^ I wonder the same thing! I really liked it when I first saw it .. now that I re-watch it .. it's corny .. but not THAT bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Well, yes, it's not a great film by any stretch of imagination, but it wasn't horrible either. I mean, mindless, cliched movies become hits all the time, so I dunno...

Come to think of it, wasn't all the three leads it starred having a hard time then? Hrithik was considered the "one film wonder" who was still searching of that one elusive hit, Rani kept on giving flops after flops after initial furor she caused, and it was this period where Kareena went through a downside where she got stuck in the "poo" role. So all three of them were cursed then. 😆

I even liked Barsaat as well.

I did the inexplicable once....I cried watching K3G not the first time repeat watch! *ashamed* What I like about MDK is the medley song. 😆 Fabulous! It indeed is good! I also like a few scenes between Hrithik and Rani....quite cute. But the movie is horrible overall....bad acting (hamming really!), bad clothes, stupid songs and oh Bebo was so annoying I could kill her! Only in the last scene I love her.... 😆 But I still like to see how Hrithik finds out that it's Rani that he is in love with and how Bebo finds out Hrithik likes Rani and not her....that keeps me glued! 😆
