At the pace at which actor Kareena Kapoor's been going, she could well have raced to the moon and back. "I wish that was true. But then maybe I wouldn't have want to return from the moon," she laughs. Ending this year on a hit note with Golmaal 3, just like she had ended the previous one with 3 Idiots, the actor has much to look forward to in the coming year too. Kickstarting with Ra. One with Shah Rukh Khan, BodyGuard with Salman Khan, Agent Vinod with Saif Ali Khan, Short Term Shaadi with Imran Khan…not to mention the several brand endorsements. All this when the actor claims not to be ambitious at all.
"I just enjoy acting. Nothing else really matters. And you can't complain when you are paid to do something you enjoy, right," she counters. That must be leaving little time for love! "Wrong!" she shoots back. "I believe that the real happiness has to come from within and not from your BO status. That can happen only when you are in a happy phase of your life personally. And I couldn't have been happier with where I am today, both professionally and personally." Point out the rumours of her alleged secret marriage with Saif and she laughs it off. "I've always been open about my relationship status. Not that I believe in shouting from the rooftops either, but it's definitely something I wouldn't hide. I'm very proud of my relationship with Saif, but I'm not 'Mrs Khan' yet!"
However she does admit that it's something the couple have considered and says, "Marriage is definitely on my mind and it's something that Saif and I discuss often. We aren't ready to give in to the temptation yet!" For now, the actor's only focusing on her work, of course with Saif by her side. "Marriage too will happen, then kids too, but there's still time for all that," she smiles.
