Taran does favors movies that do well at the box office. But KHJJS doesn't look like a hit material since it's based on freedom fighters. Movies that are hits have glam and dancing

Kunal became my favorite after I found out that he was behind Hum Tum. My favorite movie of all time for sure. Ever since than, filmmakers tried to copy that kind of love story

The concept of a critic in India is still wishy washy! There are very, very few critics who can give a 'critical analysis' of a film, which is actually what they are suppose to! Most of them either bash a film or write never ending praises! They rarely scrutinize a film objectively!

And hello, if people like that godforsaken Sajid Khan can turn from a film critic to a film director, then anything is possible in this world!

Ps : What is the definition of ancient? Over 30? Over 35? Over 40? 40 Plus?

PPS : Does anyone remember Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms anchoring a music based show? Well if you don't, then I am definitely the most ancient amongst all of you!

Sajid Khan? Oh are you talking about that show (on Sony I think) when he would dress up as an angel and devil and give his verdict on films? Haha...I remember that one. But no...Ekta is not ringing a bell.

She used to host a music show on Doordarshan called, Superhit Muqabala....she was one of the many people who hosted the show actually, including Baba Sehgal and Neelam (Govinda's co-star in many films)

Kunal Kohli used to host a show called Chalo Cinema...I think it came on Zee TV! I used to find him quite hot in those days! 😕 All psuedo intellectual and stuff!

His wife had directed Koffee With Karan episodes! (Maybe she still does, not sure)

PS: Xeta, if a 25 year old Sonam Kapoor can call a 36 year old Aishwarya as Aunty, then hum kis khet ki mooli hain?😆

Swadesh was a fantastic film! It cannot even be compared to that awful dud, What's Your Raashi!😲

IMO, SRK has shown his true potential in just two films till now...Chak De India and Swades! They are the only two films, where SRK was Kabir Khan and Mohan Bhargava and not SRK the Superstar!

Ashutosh Gowarkiar is a very talented director, making one film like WYR does not take anything away from his credentials! I really hope KHJJS is as good as Lagaan, Swades and JA and does as well as they did!

^So true about SRK! I wish he would do more films like Swades and Chak De but I guess commercial success is far more important to hold onto that superstar tag! He can act very well but all he does is....sigh...Mohan Bhargav is one of my fav characters. I relate to him so much!

Remember Superhit Muqabla and Sajid in Angel and Devil wears! LOL! But can't remember Ekta in SM...Baba Sehgal yes....

Ancient in terms of the teenagers on this forum....in my early teens I thought 32 year old Sanjay Dutt was OLD and should retire! 😆

I thought Kunal Kohli was cute too...I was his huge fan....I actually still am his fan 😆 I think! 😕😆

I am looking fwd to this movie....it's based on my hometown :-)

aah super hit muqabla baba sehgal , kunal kohli ws in some reveiw show , n there ws something called chitrahaar on doordarshan lolz. i ws a kid n used to watch dt show , onli show dt used to show new hindi songs hahaha

🤔 The promos are so boring! I don't understand how it will even attract anyone to go and see it. What happened to Ashtoush Gowariker? He needs to go back to his Lagaan/Jodhaa Akbar type of films!!!!!
