Can't wait for the member reviews to pour in....sadly, I have to wait for atleast a week more before I can see it. Mehh!!!

Review Summary

If you squint a little, "Break Ke Baad" doesn't look much different from an average — in 2010, perhaps slightly above average — Hollywood romantic comedy. This being an Indian movie, the stars are more attractive but less naturally funny than the Hollywood norm. Deepika Padukone and the Wisconsin-born Imran Khan play Aaliya and Abhay, inseparable and movie-besotted childhood friends (we learn this during an infernally long opening-credits sequence) who become an inseparable but unmarried young couple. Their rocky road to commitment encompasses struggles between tradition and modernity, duty and dreams, and, most important, male (steadfast, dull, basically right) and female (headstrong, selfish, essentially wrong). For the American viewer the minor pleasures of the knockabout comedy and the pretty locations (Mauritius stands in for the Australian Gold Coast, where Aaliya escapes from the pressures of home and love) may not completely block out the gender inequities of the screenplay, by Renuka Kunzru, and the direction, by Danish Aslam. — Mike Hale

stop crying ya'll..fine, let it turn out to be a average film, these two will learn to choose better scripts, act better or conquer whatever the problem seems to be with the movie..stop being all depressed..its okayyy! Chillll 😃
