Someone Likes Ash' Curves!

Fashion designer Elise Overland, who has been designing for Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, model Heidi Klum, socialite Nicky Hilton and Hollywood hottie Sharon Stone among others is visiting Mumbai.

Elise, who is in the city to present her Fall/Winter collection for a trunk show at Delhi society swans Priya and Charu Sachdev's store, has designed for a range of Hollywood personalities and the designer says that being friends with these hotties personally helps her know what will suit their personalities the best.

"Sharon (Stone) will always want a jacket that I am wearing. Heidi is very easy to work with. I know her since very long and she has a sporty sense of style because of her kids. But she definitely dresses young," says Elise.

She adds that she would like to dress up desi girl, actor Priyanka Chopra. "I've seen Priyanka wear one of my dresses in a magazine and I wish to style her someday. She has a sexy body and exudes strong energy," says Elise about what she likes about PC.

Also on Elise's list is Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan. The reason she says is, "Aishwarya has a curvy body. Most celebrities in the West are very skinny but I like Aishwarya for her curves."

Talking about her experience designing for Steven, she says, "His stylist once asked me to design a few T-shirts for him. Steven liked the designs a lot and the next day he came to my house with a piano and played some songs for me! He said that we'll have a great time working together and that he wanted me to design his wardrobe," says Elise recollecting how their association began.

"There are times when he wants to dress up like a pirate and at other times he wants to be a rockstar! So it really is about making clothes that suit his mood and not about what I like at all," smiles Elise.

The designer, during her trip to India will also be meeting designer Raghavendra Rathore and she says that she is excited to get a taste of ethnic and royal India. "He (Raghu) is a dear friend and I like his work as well," ends Elise.
