| Karan Johar is in a bit of tizzy. This week the recording of an episode of his Koffee With Karan featuring Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Hrithik Roshan has fallen through. Says a source, "Most of the celebs who have agreed to come on the show want to do so when they have a film to promote. That is only fair. For example, Aamir Khan has agreed to come on Koffee With Karan with his wife Kiran Rao when Dhobi Ghat releases at the end of January. In the middle of January Karan will ask his gal pals Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan to appear on the show to coincide with the release of their film No One Killed Jessica. Similarly he wanted one of his favourite directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali to be on Koffee With Karan with leading man Hrithik on the eve of the release of Guzaarish. But this fell through." In a spot, Karan was last heard approaching his soul sister Kareena Kapoor to be on the show with her beau Saif Ali Khan. The Saif-Kareena pair has sportingly agreed to bail Karan out at the eleventh hour. Karan Johar's not-so-brief illness has put his chat show in a quandary. The four episodes that he has so far recorded are rapidly drying up. The new set of guests is yet to be decided. That leaves Karan with a very narrow time-margin to arrange his guests. When contacted about the conversational crisis Karan sighed, "At this rate I'll have to put myself on the couch. I can interview myself. That should make good viewing." |
