yes b/c stuff like this sells...look at how much we all talked about it!! In general, her films did way better in the south than in B-Town, but it doesn't diminish the fact that she can act...it's not like she's an expressionless wooden table in all her films...but I'm also not gonna say she's a katherine hepburn!

When I said the Bachchan tag helps her, I meant it helps her largely. Not completely. So, the answer to your question, in my POV, would be, probably yes. I mean, she would still have movies(maybe, who knows.) but even if she did, she wouldn't have as many as she does or gets now.

The two examples we give from married ladies are Ash and Kajol. And we have seen how people have already mentioned earlier she is just getting roles in KJos movies or in her husband's or YRF(Fanna, that too long time back). So, I don't think that's really got anything special to do with her still getting movies in Bollywood on her own inspite of being married. Cause it's just her friends or family who are giving her the roles. If some other non family/friend would give her a movie or rather few movies, I did her give her more credit then for being the 'actress whose still working inspite of being married'.

That said, I in no way mean that she is not a good actress. She is. Just saying this before anyone goes in assumptions. lol :P

Coming back to Ash. As I said, she would perhaps still get movies but def. not as many as she is getting. And her international presence has got a lot more to do with her beauty and good looks rather than her acting. Or so I feel.

In anycase, this whole bit itself that I wrote is what I Feel. 😆😳

PS.- I hope I don't get too many quotes cause I am not the long discussions types :P :P

Thanks for replying! I was just curious as to what others thought. I personally don't think the Bachchan tag is helping her nab scripts, but again thats what I think. We'll never really know for real as lalixlili said earlier she's married to a Bachchan so now we'll speculate forever!

When Ash said on KWK that she doesn't believe in the cliche about actresses not wanting to marry because they want to focus on their careers, saying they can have both. It is easy for her to say because she has been fortunate to continued being offered films. Unfortunately not many actresses have her luck or her last name, no doubt she has worked hard and has critical acclaim but so have many other actresses in the industry who have worked just as hard but whose careers have suffered because of a string of flop films. I agree with ~angelz16~, Ash being a Bachchan has definately helped her career.
